It's been literally 5 months since consultation that I am awaiting for a colonoscopy... pretty certain this is not normal. My insurance is a well known agency and I even questions their practice...

They billed me incorrectly and outsource their billing to a call center. Beware of bait and switch on billing. Was told I owed nothing out of pocket and received a 1300 bill.
