Lenae Nichelson joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2022. She is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. Lenae has a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University and a Master’s degree in Bible Teaching from Columbia International University. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Lenae serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Lenae will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In her free time, Lenae enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with family. Active in her community, Lenae is a member of The Heights Baptist Church. Denis Porter joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2022. She has served our nation for 10 years and is currently a Captain within the United States Army Reserves. Denis understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a Business Minor, Denis holds Series SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Denis serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. Her thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables her to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Denis will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in her community, Denis is an Executive Officer of the United States Army Reserves. In her free time, Denis enjoys reading, spending time with family, and working out. Harry Jaeger joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2018, following a 25-year career in the United States Navy, where he attained the rank of Commander. Harry understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Harry has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia. Harry is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Harry is a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and spends much of his free time moving his four kids to and from extracurricular activities. His family also has two dogs, Fletcher a rescue mutt and Pepper a Golden Retriever. He takes every opportunity to be active outdoors with his family and friends.
