Originally started in 1982 as Albemarle Family Medicine, Drs. Marotta and Elward created Family Medicine of Albemarle in 1991 when they decided they wanted to continue to incorporate obstetrics in their practice of Family Medicine.

Specialties

All of our physicians are board-certified, providing excellent, broad-scope medical care for all ages (OB care & newborns through geriatrics), one of the only practices offering inpatient, as well as outpatient care. We participate with most commercial insurance plans.
