MBA is incorporated and governed by a Board of Directors. Since 1936, MBA has provided child care for children between two and five years of age. While children from all socio-economic backgrounds have attended MBA, emphasis is placed on the needs of inner city and at-risk families. We make every effort to accommodate the needs of these families to help them improve their lifestyles. As a non-profit agency serving primarily low income families, MBA has faced financial challenges over the years. The building MBA occupies is owned by the City of Lynchburg and is virtually rent free to the program. However, costs of maintenance and upkeep are MBA's responsibility.
