4H Center

W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center offers a range of research-based and hands-on learning experiences for youths and adults. The center serves individuals in more than 15 counties in western, central and southwestern Virginia. It operates the Southwest Virginia 4-H Center and the Airfield 4-H Center. W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center provides several outdoor education programs for local and regional elementary, middle and high school students. In addition, the center s more than 20-acre lakefront property is available on a rental basis for hosting private events, retirement dinners, company picnics and professional seminars. It maintains a wellness center and hotel- and dormitory-style lodges. W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center s outdoor adventure programs offer opportunities for hiking, camping, caving, rafting and canoeing.
