History

After attending Savannah College of Art and Design for furniture design in 2000. I began a Historic restoration company, which restored Victorian era homes. For 10 years, I restored a multitude of historic properties, until my family relocated to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. During this period of life I took a step back from owning a business to focus on my family. I continued to take on projects, while working part time in the construction and custom cabinetry fields. In 2016 I began making steel furniture for a local company, which focuses on Reclaimed Wood home goods. Last year, after delivering a large Project, the client and their interior designer asked me why I had not started my own company. This simple question helped me to see the lack of companies that cater to the customers Individual needs. It became clear that I offered not only a great product, but an individualizes experience! 1 O A K Design gives customers the opportunity to create their dreams and ideas.
