Robert Golden, Sr., and his partner, Fred Kiwak, founded Golden Technologies in 1985 in a garage in Pittston, Pa. The company manufactures three different power chair lines. The Alante power chairs feature a swiveling seat mechanism, so that clients can utilize the power chair as either a front-wheel drive or a rear-wheel drive unit.
