The Vergennes Area Rescue Squad is a nonprofit, volunteer agency. We bill for services and respond to everyone who calls for assistance, regardless of their ability to pay. For individuals without insurance or deductibles, we offer a subscription program to alleviate hardships. Bristol Rescue Squad Inc. is a non-profit emergency medical services agency dedicated to providing care to the towns of Bristol, New Haven, Monkton, Starksboro, and Lincoln in Vermont. Primarily operated by volunteers, the squad offers advanced life support and basic life support through their team of CPR-certified drivers and trained emergency responders. In addition to serving local communities, Bristol Rescue Squad also provides mutual aid to neighboring towns as needed.
