David Segel is a primary care family nurse practitioner at the UVM Medical Center with a passion for family medicine, pediatric and LGBTQ+ care. As a lifelong Vermonter, he chose to stay and work in his home state, where he loves the people and opportunities to hike and ski. Segel embraces patients of all ages and is thankful to work for a healthcare system where he can support individuals of all backgrounds, specifically the LGBTQ + population. This location offers a wide range of primary care services for patients of all ages, including treatment of illness, injury and chronic conditions; health screenings and physical examinations; immunizations; and preventive care. Specialized services include routine dermatology procedures, gynecologic care, diabetes management, adolescent care and pediatric transition to adult care.
