Dr. Carolyn Orgain is an otolaryngologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT. She specializes in endoscopic, and revision endoscopic sinus surgery, image-guided sinus surgery, skull base surgery and endoscopic orbital surgery (surgery within the eye and the sinuses). Dr. Orgain’s research interests include clinical outcomes of sinus and skull base surgery.Dr. Orgain enjoys fostering long-term relationships with her patients while establishing and maintaining their sinonasal health. Finding the underlying cause responsible for her patients' symptoms gives her great satisfaction. Her hope is to listen to every patient's personal goals and determine the best treatment course for them. Working with children, adolescents, and their parents is incredibly rewarding, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their care team. Dr. Emily Necrason is a neuropsychologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in clinical neuropsychology with a focus on adults and older adults. She provides evaluations through the Memory Program and comprehensive outpatient evaluations for a range of patient populations, including dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke and cerebrovascular disorders, closed head injury, brain tumors, and other known or suspected neurological conditions.
