Established in 1946, SoleTech is a family owned, multi-division company that is a leading supplier of footwear components and materials to the shoe manufacturing and shoe repair industry. SoleTech also has a full Orthopedic product line and a complete therapeutic shoe line under the Advance Footwear brand. SoleTech has a long history and deep expertise as a supplier of bottom components to the U.S. shoe industry that dates back to the 1940's. In the early 1980's, SoleTech found a niche in the industry by becoming specialty manufacturers of high quality compression molded EVA soles for the athletic shoe industry and molded rubber heels targeted for large shoe manufacturers. Today, SoleTech remains a leading manufacturer of components used by large shoe companies. The EVA products developed for the running shoe companies were well received by manufacturers of orthotics and braces because of their lightweight density and thermo-molding capabilities and these products opened a whole new market within the orthopedic industry. SoleTech was also among the first US companies to source products in the Far East and soon became a key player in the shoe repair and orthopedic industries. SoleTech's Shoe Repair products are used throughout shoe repair shops across the country. SoleTech produces outsoles and heels, and many other products that a typical shoe repair shop would use. SoleTech's Orthopedic products are widely used in the pedorthic, O&P, DME and other medical markets. The Orthopedic product line allows the practitioner to meet a wide range of their fabrication needs from insoles to rubber materials. A pioneer in EVA, SoleTech's registered brand Cloud EVA is recognized as an industry leader for build-ups and modifications and for the custom manufacture of orthotics and braces. Our registered brand name, Cloud, is generically used to connote many EVA materials used in such fabrication of orthotics or build-up of orthopedic shoes and has been asked for by name for many years. In 2001, SoleTech developed their own line of extra depth footwear called Advance Footwear which features an Orthopedic line for superior maximum depth footwear while the Comfort line provides a medium depth shoe for casual wear.
