Dr. Alvey received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed his Pediatric residency at Primary Children’s Hospital/ University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Alvey is an experienced general pediatrician who practiced in the community for over 15 years prior to joining the Faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics. Dr. Troy Hatfield received both bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of New Mexico. He then completed Pediatric Residency training at University of Utah. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Hatfield provides patient care in the Emergency Department and Rapid Treatment Unit at Primary Children’s Hospital. His clinical and academic areas of interest include Tribal Medicine, managing new-onset Type I Diabetes, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, and Asthma.
