Dr. Claire Walker is a Triple Board resident training Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry at University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital. She enjoys providing well visits and acute care for babies, kids and teenagers of all ages and with their families. She has a particular interest in mental health including depression and anxiety. She completed her undergraduate degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and medical school at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. D. Richard Martini, M.D. was Division Chief , Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, Department of Pediatrics from 2008 until 2020, University of Utah School of Medicine. He was also Chair, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, Primary Children’s Hospital. He is currently faculty in the Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and continues to work at Primary Children's Hospital. Dr. Martini graduated from John Hopkins University and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at University of Pittsburgh Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Martini participated in several national initiatives involving collaboration between pediatrics and child and adolescent psychiatry and served as Councilor-at-Large for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP); ABPN General and Child Psychiatry Examiner; and is currently President of the American Association of Directors of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Martini’s clinical and academic interests focus on the psychiatric care of physically ill children and adolescents. . He is a recipient of the AACAP Simon Wile Award for consultation-liaison work and is a Fellow of the AACAP and the American Psychiatric Association.
