We learned about Big Al's when we asked two locals where they went to eat. They were kind of reluctant to tell us, kind of glanced at each other and then gave up the name. We went at 1:30 on a Friday, and there was always a line to order the entire 45 minutes we were there. The limited menu is cooked to order, so there is about a ten minute wait for your food. This place is a hidden gem and we seemed to be the only non locals there. My green chili burrito was delicious, the sweet potato fries flavorful and others in our party were equally happy with their selections. Big Al's is located right next to a MacDonalds, and sure was doing more business.I almost hate to add it to the listing because Kanab is a tourist town, and this seems to be the local go to place that does a good business without advertising in any of the tourist publications.

We've eaten here a few times between traveling from Utah to Arizona is very affordable and really good food. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Really good value definitely recommend.
