Uf Young Entrepreneurs For Leadership & Sustainability

UF Young Entrepreneurs for Leadership Sustainability (YELS) is a summer program based in Gainesville, FL, that offers college-bound high school students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the campus life of the University of Florida for four weeks each summer. Through a focus on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability, YELS aims to inspire students to become leaders and problem solvers, while also providing scholarships to those who may not have the means to participate.

With a successful track record spanning from 2007 to 2016, YELS has impacted the lives of 374 high school students, thanks to the support of generous sponsors and friends. Currently on hiatus, YELS is redirecting its efforts towards the growth of UF's Social Impact Sustainability Initiative for undergraduate and graduate students, while also planning to launch new summer programs for high school students in the future.
