Busch, Hutchison and Associates was initially established as a consulting civil engineering and surveying firm in 1963 and began offering architectural services in 1982. It employs a design staff of registered architects, licensed professional engineers and surveyors, computer aided draftsmen and technicians and a support staff of more than 25 individuals. Busch, Hutchison and Associates is based in Baytown, Texas.

Mike H. Rubaiy, Pyramid Engineers & Designers, Inc.'s President, CEO, and Principal Engineer, is a Lamar graduate with degrees in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, and Structural Engineering. He has been a Professional Engineer and Registered Professional Land Surveyor for 40+ years working all over the country as well as at sea and internationally. But Beaumont has been his home for 50 years. When he opened his own firm, Pyramid Engineers & Designers, Inc.
