Big, diverse, not crowded and safe. The wildlife it's great, the only bad thing about is that some entitled people still walk their dogs without leach.

The Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy is a nonprofit organization focused on enhancing and protecting a unique urban greenspace located in southwest Houston. Spanning nearly 300 acres, this urban oasis features a network of lakes, prairie marsh islands, native plants, and wildlife, serving both as a natural flood detention system and a community hub for conservation education and recreation.
Through collaborative efforts with partners like Green Mountain Energy and Trees for Houston, the Conservancy engages volunteers in planting native species and maintaining the area. With a mission to promote environmental stewardship, the Conservancy invites the community to explore the beauty of Willow Waterhole and partake in seasonal events showcasing its natural splendor.
