HistoryAfter many years of dreaming and planning, Mansfield Community Theatre (MCT) was formed in May 2009. Drawing on years of experience and training, and surrounded by dozens of enthusiastic thespians. MCT continued to grow and recognized the inclusion of surrounding communities so to reflect this, the name was changed to Mainstage Classic Theatre (MCT), MCT has grown from producing a Summer Musical to now also producing a spring and Winter show, Summer Youth Camp and Youth Theatre Education. We now have a studio on Main street in Mansfield next to Farr Best Theatre where we do most rehearsals and Theatre classes. We partner with MISD to use Willie Pigg Auditorium for our larger productions.
