Whispering Pines Golf Club

The main course at Whispering Pines Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus-designed championship course situated on 400 acres surrounded by creeks and lakes that offer beautiful shoreline vistas. In addition to the 7,300-yard, 18-hole championship course, the club features a three-hole, par-three beginner layout for First Tee Program participants, a driving range and a short-game practice area. Whispering Pines Golf Club is home to The Spirit International Amateur Golf Tournament and was named the third-best course in Texas for 2005. When it was opened in 2001, it was named the third-best new private course in the nation. In addition to golf, Whispering Pines offers fine dining, horseback riding, bicycling, nature trails, canoeing, fishing and kayaking. It also has four 3,000-square-foot cottages nestled between the first and ninth holes. Whispering Pines Golf Club is located in Trinity, Texas.
