In Galveston, 1959, travel began with Travel Counselors. M. B. Antonelli founded this unique travel business concept based on a complete agenda of travel services that would meet the needs of the ever changing traveler in Galveston and Galveston County. Now, from a one room office in '59, Travel Counselors has expanded into a multi-million dollar travel agency complete with a full staff of experienced travel counselors, computer airline reservations system, accounting/information computer systems, faxes, and internet availability. A comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry combined with strict professional standards has underscored our success. Each agent functions as a travel consultant coordinating all aspects of travel for our clients: trip planning, ongoing supervision of the itinerary-in-progress, financial reporting system of invoicing and cost analysis.
