On Monday my Lovely Wife and I decided to go out on a Church Outing on Tuesday to the City of San Angelo "International Waterlily Collection". We met up at our Church and boarded the Church Bus....

The International Waterlily Collection has been designated by the International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society as the premiere collection of waterlilies in existence. This collection is only able to display about 1/2 of 1% of the collection each year so there is always something new and wondrous to see.

It was November when we went. This is the biggest water lily collection in San Angelo. If you like lilies then come see this place. It's free.

We came to San Angelo to avoid Hurricane Beryl on the Gulf Coast. We didn't want to just sit at camp for 4 days so we got out and saw some sites. The Water Lilly Collection did not disappoint!!

Unbeknownst to me, water lilies don't bloom in the winter, so I only saw four or five blooms, and not many lily pads either. According to signage, the best times are March through November. Even...

A little hidden gem in San Angelo! There's a little rose garden and some bridges surrounding it with some palm trees.
