Karen Swenson, M.D., earned a B.S. in Nutrition Science with highest honors from the University of California, Davis in 1976. She received her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, graduating in 1981. In 1985, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where she was appointed Administrative Chief Resident.
