Tarrant Area Food Bank is a regional clearinghouse for donated food, providing a nutritious mix of fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable products to hunger-relief charities and social services organizations in North Texas. They empower communities to eliminate hunger through innovation and collaboration, believing that access to healthy food is a basic human right. With a fleet of three buses, they serve Arlington, Fort Worth, and areas west of Fort Worth, distributing food to pantries in 13 counties.

Tarrant Area Food Bank offers various programs such as Cooking Matters, inspiring families with limited food budgets to make healthy and affordable meals, and Community Garden, helping community members and organizations create thriving gardens. They also have youth programs to educate children on making healthier choices, farmers market nutrition programs for qualifying WIC participants, and a recipe library to encourage cooking at home with affordable ingredients. Last year, they provided 1 million meals to kids, seniors, and families, with the support of dedicated volunteers and donors.
