Based in Central Texas, our firm is a living legacy to the commitment of our founders: two lifelong friends dedicated to the mission of providing civil engineering expertise to the public and private sector. Southwest Engineers is dedicated to the simple philosophy of "working miracles for our clients every day." Our staff includes civil, environmental and chemical engineers, design technicians, and CAD operators who support the day-to-day needs of clients across the state. Mixed in with the Texas spirit that effective planning and design can benefit from a common respect, collaboration and perhaps even a love of BBQ. We take great pride in contributing to our client's success and for the past 30 years, have been delivering the most innovative and reliable plans for land development and site construction.

BEFCO Engineering, Inc is a consulting engineering and surveying company founded in 1979. We provide general civil engineering services related to water, sanitary sewer, paving, and drainage projects to counties, cities, utility districts, schools, and private developers. Additionally, we have a surveying department to support our engineering effort and provide our customers with boundary and topographical surveys, platting, and construction staking. BEFCO assists all of our clients with planning, cost estimating, design, permitting, and construction management so that they may complete their jobs efficiently and to the highest standards. Our staff includes two registered professional engineers / professional land surveyors, three professional engineers, and one registered professional land surveyor. We also have a drafting department that operates the Land Development Desktop 3 AUTOCAD 2004 system and a survey crew that utilizes state of the art global positioning system ( GPS ) equipment and robotics. Besides engineering and surveying experience, BEFCO's background also includes seventeen years of water system management and almost fourteen years of construction experience. While we have since discontinued these operations, the insight gained from both has proved invaluable when planning and designing projects. With an ever-changing world, BEFCO also realizes the importance of staying current with the latest ideas as they relate to construction and technology. In addition to the continuing education that is required in our fields of work, we encourage professional development through the attendance of seminars and schools. Through the years, we have assembled a strong network of professionals in other areas of expertise that we can draw on to provide our clients with the best service possible. The principals and staff at BEFCO grew up in small town Texas and still prefer to live and work there. Thus, it is not surprising that we specialize in providing services to utility districts, small Texas towns, and counties in rural Texas. With our background and sense of small-town community values, we at BEFCO feel like we can provide unique, practical engineering and surveying services with a sense of care.
