Established in 1882, Southside Market & Barbeque is the oldest BBQ joint in Texas. Best known for our Original Beef Sausage (aka Elgin Hot Sausage), we serve authentic Central Texas barbeque in a family-friendly setting. All of our meats are smoked on-site, low and slow over real Texas post oak wood and our sides and desserts are all made fresh daily. In addition to our restaurant, we also have a full-service Meat Market offering a selection of fresh meats and weekly specials.
