Shelli Palmer, MSN, FNP-C, began her career as a nurse after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, in 2001. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2024 to become a family nurse practitioner. Shelli joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Family Medicine department in August 2025. She provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care such as well checks and immunizations. Shelli also diagnoses and treats acute conditions such as injuries and infections and has a particular interest in helping patients manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, asthma, and others.
