The Caring Place is over 30 years old and was founded by local volunteers and the Georgetown Ministerial Alliance to address needs during the economic downturn. Two thrift shop locations, including this one help fund the mission to serve the community.

I shop here every week for many years. They are staffed by pleasant folks who always make you feel welcome. Prices are a bit shocking, though, and the selection has dropped dramatically....
