Sandra J Irving, MD - Kelsey-Seybold Clinic

Dr. Ro Akpovwa is a board-certified pediatrician. She earned her medical degree in 2002 at Ahmadu Bello University in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Dr. Akpovwa completed her Pediatrics residency at Woodhill Medical/NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, NY. She has worked as a general pediatrician for over 10 years. She was an attending physician hospitalist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and spent most of her career over the past 10 years working at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she was also faculty as a clinical assistant professor at the Ohio State College of Medicine. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in April 2022.

Karen Steward, NP is a palliative care nurse practitioner at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.

Dr. Yakoob is a graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
