History

At Rustic Outlet our furniture is constructed from solid pine, which has distressing accents to acheive an Old World look. The furniture is kiln dried at the factory, stabilizing the wood against excessive cracks and splitting. Kiln drying also eliminates pests from reclaiming the wood, without using harsh chemicals. Hand forged iron hardware adds to the authenticity of the furniture. After careful surface preparation, a high quality furniture wax is hand applied to each piece, ensuring a consistent and lasting finish. Over time, each piece will age gracefully and develop a unique rustic character of it's own. Natural small cracks may develop as the furniture ages, enhancing it's character. Each piece of our Rustic Furniture is constructed by hand using century old techniques and high quality seasoned pine. The result is quality and durability that will withstand the test of time.
