Steven E. Flores, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon focused on providing exceptional care for all of his patients. Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with an additional certificate of added qualification in orthopedic sports medicine, Flores has over 15 years of experience specializing in knee, shoulder, and sports medicine injuries with an emphasis on arthroscopy and minimally invasive techniques. He treats athletes and nonathletes of all ages who have sustained injuries or are experiencing issues they feel need evaluation.Hes also an assistant professor and the program director of the Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.Flores served as the head team physician for the Houston Rockets for over 10 years and is currently the head team orthopedist for the Houston Texans. He also provides orthopedic care for numerous schools around the Houston area.He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. Hes also a member of the NFL Physicians Society.Flores received his undergraduate degree with honors from Texas A&M University. He attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Walt Lowe is chairman and professor of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He also serves as the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Memorial Hermann at the Texas Medical Center and LBJ General Hospital. Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Lowe specializes in Sports Medicine with an emphasis on diagnosing and treating a wide range of knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries and disorders. Dr. Lowe serves as the Head Team Physician for the NFL Houston Texans, the Head Team Physician for the NCAA University of Houston Cougars, and the Head Team Physician for the NBA Houston Rockets.
