Dr. Medhat Guirguis obtained his medical diploma from Ain Shams University, Egypt. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC), Lubbock, and for fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX, where he received fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Guirguis has been a psychiatrist for more than ten years. He has worked in different clinical settings and held various administrative positions include the medical director of the geriatric unit at Terrell State Hospital and the Clerkship Director of psychiatry at TTUHSC. Dr. Guirguis is Board certified in Adult General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry.
