History

Dale Brown bought the business in 1997. Before Rainforest Pets, he earned his degree in microbiology and worked at MD Anderson doing cancer research and working with various diseases. After that he moved onto training astronauts at NASA to perform certain experiments on shuttle missions. Using his training in science Dale loves to learn about the specifics of all animals, but he is partial to fresh and saltwater fish. He performed tank maintenance, before owning Rainforest Pets, as well as pond maintenance and has several tricks of the trade up his sleeves to help customers.
