History

Ju Ki Do is a unique system of martial arts which incorporates many disciplines other than the purely physical. Ju Ki Do is a philosophy of thought, establishing the mindset for success in life in the issues of art, love, and war. Ju Ki Do represents styles from seven countries: Japan, China, Okinawa, Korea, the Philippines, Brazil, and the United States. It has been inspired by over fourteen styles, including: Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido, Nisei Goju, Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Kyokushinkai, Kempo, Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, Escrima, T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Capoeira, Brazillian Jujitsu and US Military Martial Arts. (The US Military is second to none in hand to hand combat!)
