Dr. Veley received his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 2001, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut John Dempsey Medical Center in 2004, and his fellowship in Pulmonary, Sleep and Critical Care at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYC, in 2007. Along the way, he has collaborated with fellow medical professionals in conducting research on various ground breaking studies in COPD patients that he has published in several peer-reviewed medical journals. He has also lectured on patient care safety, intra-hospital transport of critically-ill patients, and other important topics in several medical conferences and universities. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. Concurrently, Dr. Veley served as Assistant Professor with the Texas A&M University College of Medicine and is a faculty assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Veley has established himself as an expert in managing cases involving patients with lung nodules, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis and various pulmonary infections. He has a broad following who seek his expertise in addressing COPD, asthma, chronic cough, bronchiectasis, occupational lung disease as well as sleep apnea., with a special area of interest in the early detection of lung cancer.
