After pursing an educational path in engineering, family physician Dr. Scott Talbot realized he had a greater passion for medicine. He went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston before completing his family medicine residency training at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. A Texas native, Dr. Talbot has lived in and served the health care needs of the Denton community for more than 15 years. Before practicing locally, he was in private practice in the rural-Texas town of Bonham. Dr. Talbot specializes in family medicine and senior health care. He has also been recognized for providing the highest level of care to patients with diabetes. Dr. Talbot is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American Association of Family Practice, American Medical Association and Denton County Medical Society.
