HistoryThe focus of my practice is trauma and trauma related struggles. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or (ACT) which I use in conjunction with EMDR therapy. ACT is a form of therapy that is based on Psychological Flexibility and a persons individual Values. Using these two therapy methods I strive to help my clients learn to break free from struggles and past experiences and overcome ineffective behavior patterns that bind and prevent them from living a meaningful and enjoyable life.
