North Central Texas College, established in 1924, is a two-year community college operating campuses in Gainesville, Corinth and Bowie, Texas. It offers associate degrees in business administration and management, business computer programming, cosmetology, emergency medical technology, engineering, farm and ranch management and general studies. The college also provides a range of online courses in accounting, art, biology, economics, law enforcement, physical education and psychology. It has athletic teams in baseball, softball, tennis and volleyball. The college s colors are blue and white and its mascot is lion. Its bookstore offers online ordering services, workbooks, test study guides, cliff notes, laboratory books and sale merchandise, as well as provides online access for financial assistance students. North Central Texas College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools.

I went once for Computer Sciences and their computers were down the entire semester. Made getting my assignments done very hard to do. Wound up getting flunked out. Then tried for cosmetology...

The financial aid office is jack shit. Bad attitude, does not care, and wasting my time. She kept trying to give me another line and then transfer the call. No one was picked up.

I am so glad I took my science courses at another school. I have a few friends who took their A&P's at NCTC and the experiences they described to me were such that they would infuriate anyone....
