Amit K. Agarwal, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon who treats patients of all ages. His clinical interests include minimally invasive and robotic surgery of the colon and rectum, cancer screening colonoscopy, benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, and anus, as well as pelvic floor disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and incontinence. Agarwal is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.He earned his medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in general surgery and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at UTHealth Houston.
