The Center for Neurological Disorders offers a range of health care services. It specializes in neurological surgery and provides the diagnosis and treatment of patients with brain, spine and peripheral nerves injuries. The center offers surgical and nonsurgical treatments. It also has expertise in the areas of radiology and pain management. Additionally, the Center for Neurological Disorders conducts CT scans. Its staff includes family and emergency physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, medical technicians and nurse practitioners who provide consulting services for cerebrovascular disorders, including acute brain rescue, multimodal rehabilitation, and interventional neuroradiologic and surgical therapy. The center also offers community education programs, as well as neuromuscular facial retraining treatment. In addition, it provides behavior treatments for anxiety, depression, stress and sleep disorders. As a child, Ms. James suffered injuries that brought her into the emergency room. There, she admired the care her doctors and nurses provided. She soon grew to love the world of medicine and made it her goal to become a nurse practitioner.
