Helen Shelton opened Mockingbird Bridal Boutique in 1954 in Oak Cliff, moving to our current location in 1968. Having the first true Bridal Boutique of its kind in the Dallas- Fort Worth area. Helen has had the opportunity of seeing true style trends through the years and the opportunity to grow and expand with an exuberant array of designers. Joining Helen in 1999, granddaughter Amber Harris graduate of Southern Methodist University has had the pleasure of following Helen's unbelievable talent in running the business. Most currently, granddaughter Ashley Pappas, also a Southern Methodist Graduate, has now joined her grandmother and sister in the most established and most respected Bridal Boutique.
