Jaycee Zaragoza Recreation Center, established in 1980, is one of the first modern recreation centers in Dallas, specifically designed to serve the local community with a focus on community service. Originally offering recreation activities alongside a dental clinic and limited medical services, it has since evolved to include various amenities such as a fitness center, boxing gym, and meeting rooms.

Since its inception, the center has undergone significant renovations, including a major update in 2012 that enhanced its facilities with a new kitchen, upgraded equipment, and additional space.
