M. David Albers, MD

After graduating from medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in 1995, Dr. Cook completed his residency in General Surgery in 2000 at Baylor. Dr. Cook is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society. When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Cook enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr. Debra Gummelt is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with added certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry in 1989 from Texas Lutheran College in Seguin. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth in 1995 and completed the Family Practice Residency Program at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Conroe, Texas, in 1998. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in September 2021, Dr. Gummelt served as a chief medical officer at Harbor Hospice in Houston, Texas. She's a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
