KRUEGER Engineering was established in 1951 as a postage-stamp-sized facility with a handful of employees. The original facility was on Tidwell Road in Houston. After a few years, the fledgling operation was on its way to success and required a larger plant.

Sulzer Turbo Services in Houston has dedicated more than 30 years to providing the widest range and highest quality turbo machinery repair services to the power generation, refining, pipeline and other process industries. Its rotor and assembly bays can handle the smallest to the largest machines, and its turbine component repair facility, with its fully-equipped metallurgical laboratory, advanced welding chambers and vacuum heat treating ovens offers innovative repair solutions on the widest range of components. Complete cold and hot section coating services are offered in the HICoat Division with robotic plasma spray and HVOF applied coatings. Hickham-at-Speed offers the largest and most advanced vacuum bunker handling rotors up to 50,000 lbs and speeds up to 40,000 rpm. Manufacturing of blades and impellers is done using advanced 5-axis machines, backed by engineers using precise coordinate measuring machines.
