The roots of Lost Draw Cellars spread deep into Fredericksburg and as wide as the Texas High Plains. Before it was a place flowing with wine and filled with laughter and good cheer, the property that is Lost Draw Cellars was a Gulf Distribution hub. Starting in 1936, the Gulf Distribution business would stay family-owned for four generations in Fredericksburg with Troy Ottmers taking the helm in 1987 and would stay that way until Troy sold the business in 2009, but kept the land.

Really lovely people and the outside tasting area is really nice. I don't particularly like whites, but the Viognier was great. Buttery. Really good. On the red side, like the GSM and Sangiovese...
