History
I've been teaching piano lessons on-and-off since graduating from university with jazz minor in 2010. Since then, I've worked with many kinds of students in a number of different settings. I've worked with students as young as 8 and as old as 70. I've taught out of my home studio, at the houses of my students, in music schools, and through universities.
Specialties
I teach keyboard lessons to any who are interested. I specialize in jazz, but I also have extensive experience with R&B, soul, funk, Americana, salsa, and pop. I also offer more traditional classical lessons to beginning and intermediate students. I have extensive university training in music, so I am also able to teach and tutor students in music theory, ear training, and other music-related academic skills - a perfect fit for anyone hoping to hone their skills before applying to music school.
