Herman Furlough Middle School

Herman Furlough, Junior Middle School is an educational institution that enrolls students in grades seven and eight. It provides a range of academic and extracurricular programs. The school offers instruction in math, computer technology, science and theater arts. It also imparts instruction in home economics, English, social studies, and health and physical education. Herman Furlough, Junior Middle School maintains a parent-teacher organization, library, cafeteria and computer laboratory. It participates in English as a Second Language and special education programs. The school enables its students to participate in various competitions and contests organized by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). Additionally, it provides health care, meal and transportation services. Herman Furlough, Junior Middle School is a part of the Terrell Independent School District, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
