Chiropractic physician Trace Alexander, DC, FNP, has been serving patients in the Dallas area for sports-related injuries, acute pain, chronic pain, work-related injuries, and auto-related injuries since 1996. At Legacy Pain and Regenerative Medicine, with locations in Plano and Addison, Texas, Dr. Alexander focuses on overall well-being and recovery, with a focus on education.Dr. Alexander earned his Doctor of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences/Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Dr. Alexander believes there are some ailments that necessitate prescription medications, and there are some ailments that do not require medications but would be better treated by a Doctor of Chiropractic. That is why he went back to school to become a family nurse practitioner in addition to a chiropractor, to take a whole health approach to successfully better his patients lifestyles. He achieved his Master of Science in nursing from Samford University.After completing his studies, Dr. Alexander worked in family medicine, chiropractic care, and sports medicine settings. He has personally performed over1000 reviews and over1000 independent medical examinations for various organizations over the past 10 years.Dr. Alexander has an un-surpassing, in-depth knowledge of human anatomy. He is trained to treat an extensive range of maladies, manipulate and adjust all components of the body into alignment, restore joint mobility, recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, provide nutritional, dietary, and lifestyle counseling as well as supplement programs for each individual need. To better serve his patients, Dr. Alexander is also certified in clean needle acupuncture, clinical nutrition, and regenerative medicine.
