In 1950, Grandpappy Point Resort and Marina was just a small fishing camp established off the shores of Lake Texoma. Today, Grandpappy Point is a full-service marina that spans over 180 acres in Denison, Texas. We offer full range service and maintenance departments, a fully stocked parts department, and an easy access fuel dock stocked with snacks and beverages. Our day use area and covered pavilions are great for reunions, parties, and events. And if you plan on staying longer than the day we also provide boat slip rentals and dockominiums, as well as renovated cabins, camping, and R/V site amenities to accommodate your stay. If you don’t own a boat don’t worry, we sell them too, our Yacht Sales department sells both powerboats and sailboats. We also have pontoon boats, ski boats, stand-up paddle boards, and kayaks for rent.

Still looking for a place to stay a few days. Grandpappy's has a huge marina. So many boats! The cabins looked really nice, but none of them have a lake view. And that's a must have for Glenda....

Terrible! Buffet was Thanksgiving Dinner in July! The poor kids that work there were the bright spot.

20th anniversary was a success. Rented a pontoon and played around Lake Texoma. The rental was quick and easy. The people were super nice. What a great way to relax today and celebrate us.
