El Gato Coffeehouse & Cat Cottage is Houston's first cat cafe! We're partnered with the Houston Humane Society and all of our cats are adoptable! El Gato is currently in soft opening mode with the Cat Cottage being open regularly. The full-service coffeehouse will open this summer. In the meantime, attend one of our events or book a visit to the Cat Cottage to visit our resident gatos!

The coffee is actually in the truck outside and the inside is the cat cafe! Inside is so spacious. I think the capacity is 20 ppl and there were so many cats. You could buy cat treats to feed them...
