History

Educational Tutoring Centers started as a sole proprietorship in, Saint Louis, MO, in 1991. The founder began with offering private tutoring to college students enrolled in upper-level mathematics. During this time, she discovered that, for some, their frustrations were due to forgotten concepts or missing foundational skills. This led to providing a wider range of services to students between the ages of 3 and adult. In 2005 a high demand for services in Florissant, Missouri prompted the founder to open a tutoring center. A few years later, her team began offering contracted services for the Juvenile Division of the St Louis City Family Courts and other community services agencies. A couple years later services were extended to the state of Illinois, where her team offered (SES) after school tutoring for several school districts. Today, online services are offered any where that a student has internet access and in-person in various states.
